Does the price displayed on the platform include all transportation costs?
The price displayed on the platform already includes all basic transportation costs, such as toll fees, CO2 charges, and fuel surcharges. However, please note that additional services, such as insurance, are not automatically included. These can be added optionally in the final step of the booking process if desired.
Which freight companies does Cargoboard work with?
We work with various freight companies to offer a wide range of transportation services. For general cargo shipments, we rely on the Cargoline network, ensuring a reliable and efficient handling of smaller shipments that do not fill an entire truckload. Additionally, for LTL (Less than Truckload), FTL (Full Truckload), and direct shipments, we provide transport solutions through an exclusive and carefully vetted network of logistics partners.
What payment methods does Cargoboard offer?
At Cargoboard, we understand that flexible payment options are important to our customers. That’s why we offer a variety of payment methods, including PayPal, Sofortüberweisung, and Giropay, as well as credit card payments, advance payment, and the option to pay by invoice. Our goal is to make the payment process as simple and adaptable as possible to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Under what conditions is payment by invoice possible?
At Cargoboard, payment by invoice is possible if the customer has sufficient creditworthiness. This credit check is carried out by our partner Creditsafe to ensure that the financial requirements for this payment method are met.
What payment terms do I have as a customer at Cargoboard?
At Cargoboard, you have a payment term of 12 days from the invoice date. This means that your payment must be made within 12 days after the invoice has been issued.
Is it possible to pay by collective invoice?
Yes, at Cargoboard, we offer the option of payment by collective invoice. This option is available to customers who regularly process at least 10 shipments per month with us. The collective invoice allows you to combine multiple shipments into a single invoice, reducing administrative effort on your end.
What requirements do I need to meet to benefit from discounts?
To benefit from discounts at Cargoboard, you need to ship regularly, with a minimum volume of ten shipments per month. Additionally, you can take advantage of our tiered discount structure: the more shipments you process, the higher the potential discount. This system is designed to reward our loyal customers while also providing an incentive for higher shipping volumes.
What does prioritized pickup and delivery mean?
At Cargoboard, prioritized pickup and delivery is a special service that ensures your shipment is always handled with the highest priority. This means that such shipments are given precedence in our planning process and are considered before standard shipments. This service guarantees faster and more efficient processing of your shipments.
What does standard transit time mean?
At Cargoboard, the term standard transit time refers to the average duration required to transport a shipment from its origin to its destination under normal conditions. This transit time is determined based on our experience and typical transport durations, providing our customers with a reliable reference for planning their shipments.
