Starting out as a small start-up from the Paderborn province, we have grown-up to be an established logistics company. Our goal? Taking the logistics market into the future. Our team takes on new challenges every day to provide the best possible transportation experience for our customers.
With our digital platform, we enable customers to book transports quickly. In addition, we have a comprehensive customer service: our employees take care of the reliable handling of our shipments.
We work with established transport networks of strong partners – such as the CargoLine. This means that the future of logistics is already happening today.

Our history
2018 - The Idea Is Born
As part of a project at Paderborn University, we develop the business model of Cargoboard with the aim of digitising the logistics market. A pitch to the managing directors of CargoLine lays the foundation for our future.
2019 - Official Foundation & First Growth Step
Following successful further development, Cargoboard is officially founded on April 1. With the hiring of our first full-time employee, we begin operational activities and offer Europe-wide groupage transport services.
2020 - First Office & Organisational Growth
Our team continues to grow, increasing the need for more space. We therefore move into our first dedicated office at Marienplatz in Paderborn – an important milestone in the company’s development.
2021 - Expansion & Launch of Apprenticeships
Our service portfolio expands: we now enable pan-European transports and establish our subsidiary in Austria. At the same time, we invest in training and offer our first apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk.
2022 - Growth & New Office Space
Our workforce exceeds 50 employees, prompting a move to larger offices in the Technology Park in Paderborn. Our apprenticeship programme is expanded to include marketing communications, allowing us to further develop our team in a targeted way.
2023 - Digitalisation & Expanded Transport Solutions
The relaunch of our website enhances the user experience and makes transport booking even more intuitive. In parallel, we expand our part-load and full-load transport services across Europe and launch an additional IT apprenticeship as an application development specialist.
2024 - International Expansion & 1,000,000 Shipments
With our market entry into Spain, Portugal and Poland, we continue to drive international expansion. Another major milestone: we surpass 1,000,000 shipments, underlining our continuous growth.
2025 - Cargoboard 2.0 & 100,000 Customers
The launch of a new and optimised platform makes our digital logistics solution even more efficient and user-friendly. At the same time, we reach a total of 100,000 customers – a strong testament to the trust placed in our services.
2026 - Continued Expansion & 100 Employees
We continue our European expansion to fulfil our vision: “To be Europe's go-to transport platform.” Reaching 100 employees strengthens our team for the next phase of growth.
