How large can the parcel be at most?

Do you want to ship a 2 m parcel? With conventional parcel services like DHL you quickly reach your limits here – but not with Cargoboard! We make shipping large parcels flexible, reliable and free of complicated restrictions.

Whether you want to ship an XXL parcel or a particularly long 45 kg parcel – these dimensions are no problem for us. And if you ship a 70 kg parcel, the costs and handling stay transparent and simple with us.

While many service providers restrict the shipping of long parcels, with Cargoboard you can ship large parcels with ease – fast, efficient and with no hidden extra costs.

Ship a 40 kg parcel

Shipping a 40 kg parcel is no problem for us! From 30 kg, however, it must be palletised and accessible from underneath. In addition, the parcel should be secured on the pallet with lashing straps or film. With the right packaging, you can ship your 40 kg parcel with us – safely, reliably and free of complicated restrictions.

Ship a 50 kg parcel

Do you want to ship a 50 kg parcel? With Cargoboard this is easily possible! To ensure that transport runs smoothly, from 30 kg this parcel must also be placed on a pallet and accessible from underneath. In addition, it should be secured with lashing straps and film. This way you can ship your 50 kg parcel without having to worry about damage or transport restrictions.

The costs when you ship a large parcel depend on several factors, including size, weight and route.

In addition, we offer two shipping options, which also influence the costs of shipping large parcels.

Standard shipping
A cost-effective solution that is suitable for transports where a slightly longer transit time is not a decisive factor.

Premium shipping
For especially urgent transports, our Premium shipping offers the right option. Your shipment is given priority and reaches its destination quickly and reliably.

1. Wrap the goods in bubble wrap

2. Package the goods in a sufficiently large parcel

3. Fill the cavity with styrofoam, foam or chips

4. If needed, attach palletcaps to prevent stacking

Insure your large parcel for transport

There is no standard insurance for shipping large parcels. In the event of damage, only the liability under the German Freight Forwarders’ Standard Terms and Conditions (ADSp) applies.

To optimally protect valuable shipments, we recommend taking out our shipping insurance. You can add this easily and conveniently directly during booking.

Wie versende ich ein großes Paket?

Ein großes Paket zu versenden ist ganz einfach: Geben Sie Ihre Daten online ein, und Sie erhalten sofort den passenden Preis. Wichtig ist eine stabile Verpackung – nutzen Sie robuste Kartons, Polstermaterial und Klebeband. Ab einem Gewicht von 30 kg muss Ihre Sendung auf einer Palette transportiert werden. Nach der Buchung holen wir Ihr Paket direkt bei Ihnen ab und liefern es zuverlässig an die Zieladresse.

Kann ich ein großes Paket auch als Privatperson versenden?

Wir bieten den Versand von großen Paketen ausschließlich für Gewerbekunden, Behörden und Unternehmen an. Ein Transport im Auftrag von Privatpersonen ist komplett ausgeschlossen.

Was ist der frühestmögliche Abholtermin? Kann heute noch abgeholt werden?

Ist mein Transport versichert, wenn ich ein großes Paket versenden?

Standardmäßig ist Ihr Versand nicht durch eine separate Versicherung gedeckt. Im Falle eines Verlustes oder Schadens greift lediglich die gesetzliche Transporthaftung, welche eine Entschädigung von etwa 10 € pro Kilogramm Schadensgewicht vorsieht. Das bedeutet, dass sich die Entschädigung ausschließlich auf das Schadensgewicht des beschädigten oder verlorenen Guts bezieht. Als Beispiel: Wird ein Laptop mit einem Gewicht von 2 kg beschädigt, würde die Haftung lediglich eine Entschädigung von 20 € vorsehen.
